GOTCHA' DAY

GOTCHA' DAY. A miraculous day in adoption .... and often celebrated each year with bigger fanfare than birthdays ... because it is the day when a former orphan is finally placed into the arms of her mom and dad for the first time!

I am guest blogging today on behalf of our dear friends the VanderGiessen's who are holding their beautiful daughter, Maleah, in their arms for good! Laura said this morning that their trip has been incredible, and that she has many amazing stories to share. Maleah did great on their first night together, and they are just waiting to get their final documents from the Embassy before preparing for their flight home. Please pray for smooth travels, and that Maleah will do well on the flights. They will arrive home mid-day on Friday! WooHoo!!
