So…did you know that even if you feel like you can’t keep up, life still keeps on going? TOTALLY found that out this summer. We celebrated SO many wonderful things this summer and made some great memories.
Our super creative, sensitive, compassionate, and generous Micah turned 6! We celebrated with a knight party complete with a fire-breathing dragon cake!
We played in the pool in the backyard A LOT…well, when the sun decided to shine, that is.
We celebrated the 4th of July with family and fireworks…
and we had Maleah baptized at church…
We took a family vacation to Eagle Crest (just the 6 of us…2 pack & plays, 2 portable high chairs, ya know..just super relaxing :) 
and we went to the beach with my family for a long weekend..
Maleah slept in yet another closet on our vacations….
We had a little party for Levi who turned 2 at the end of August…
Then all of a sudden it was September and time for Micah to start 1st grade!
Oh…and in that time Caleb had his 3rd ear tube surgery, Clint traveled overseas, Caleb started 3rd grade homeschooling, Maleah started walking, Clint trained for a marathon, and Levi FINALLY started talking (which everyone is super happy about) .
So..there ya go…summer (post Ethiopia trip) in a nutshell. We were bound and determined to make memories even if things were a little CRAZY at our house!

PHEW! That was a lot in one post, I'm exhausted for you! And that was only a TASTE of your summer! Hope things are starting to normalize for you now.
